Convert brings video, audio, image, document and PDF conversion together in one app. Extract audio, transcribe media and manage your files on iPhone and iPad.

This Privacy Policy applies to the Convert app and its included frameworks and extensions. Third-party websites, cloud storage providers and services you access through Convert are governed by their own privacy policies.

Data Collection

Convert does not use your files or their contents for advertising or tracking. We do not receive your files simply because you import, convert or manage them in the app.

If you contact us for support, we receive your email address and any information or attachments you choose to provide. We use this information to respond to your request.

Files and Processing

Convert stores imported files and generated results locally within the app unless you choose another destination. Your device settings may also allow app data to be included in Apple’s backups.

When you download files, open web links, transfer files over Wi-Fi or export to a cloud storage provider, the relevant files and connection information are exchanged with the destination or service you select.

Speech Recognition

Convert uses Apple’s Speech framework for transcription. The app requests on-device recognition when supported. When on-device recognition is unavailable, audio may be sent to Apple for processing. Permissions and Security

Convert requests access to features such as your photo library, speech recognition and local network when needed for the tools you use. You can manage permissions in your device’s Settings.

If you enable Face ID, Touch ID or device-passcode protection, authentication is handled by iOS. Convert does not receive or store your biometric data or device passcode.

Convert does not use cookies for advertising or tracking. Websites you open through the app may use cookies or similar technologies under their own privacy policies.

Managing Your Data

You can delete files stored within Convert using the app’s file manager. Copies you export, share or back up may remain in their respective destinations and must be managed separately.
